I wanted an intimate place to relax and really enjoy the company of eachother (my boyfriend and I). Originally I reserved the W downtown, I thought it’d be hip place with great ambiance but the reviews weren’t so great and parking was only valet (30$/day) and there was no included meals.
I started to think would this hotel be a place I’d really enjoy my love’s company, or would we get involved in drinks out of boredom and spending too much to try living “lavishly”.
Then I found Stonehurst Place, I will say as a younger person I was intimidated. The place doesn’t exactly advertise towards mid 20s just on a weekend getaway. The reviews though were all wonderful, the best ratings around.
I am so happy I listened to them, even before arriving Paul called to check on us. When we came we felt incredibly relaxed and welcomed. Everyone treated us wonderfully, no waiting at front desks hoping for a happy hotel clerk. There was no fee for parking and there was fresh breakfast every morning.
We are huge advocates for health and the environment, the Inn was supporters of both as well.
I would recommend this place to any one truly wishing to enjoy the presence of the person they are with, whether yourself, your lover, or even a parent or sibling.
Please check this place out, laugh with the wonderful innkeepers, see Atlanta, and have a much deserved weekend of enjoyment.
