My wife and I decided to visit Atlanta to see the exhibit at the High Museum of Art featuring the Vermeer painting of the” Girl with the Pearl Earring”. We wanted a special place to stay and Stonehurst fit the bill perfectly. The B&B is a gracious 1894 home that has been lovingly restored and furnished with great style. The Midtown location was perfect for walking to restaurants and attractions. We loved the Atlanta Botanical garden as well as the High Museum. Having free off-street parking was also a plus. Inkeepers Paul and Lori were very friendly and helpful. They prepared breakfasts that were gourmet treats. The neighborhood is a bit gritty, but we always felt safe and comfortable walking around. We plan to return again since we still have much more to see in Atlanta.
