We really enjoyed staying at Stonehurst Place. Our stay began with a very informative tour of the house, which included a music room with grand piano; a large screened in porch with ceiling fans;
and a room I’ve heard mentioned in books about historic homes but never before had actually seen, a sleeping porch. It was open for relaxing, not sleeping. The sleeping porch also had a tea and coffee maker. We stayed in The Gables Suite. it was large, airy, and well furnished. The bathroom had heated floors and a wonderful shower with three water nozzles.
We also enjoyed talking with Paul and Lori, the innkeepers. We left knowing that we will return the next time we’re in Atlanta.
