“Wonderfully relaxing”

Stayed here one night on a business trip and found it a wonderful and welcoming place to unwind. Guests have the run of the house, you won’t be confined to your room which in the case of my small and rather dark room was fortunate.
Even if you are not a breakfast person don’t miss this one: it is lovingly prepared and served with care. The Piedmont Room was the last available room when I booked. Since it’s only larger window towards the outside world gives out onto the porch this room is somewhat lacking in light and privacy (unless you draw the heavy curtains, further darkening the room).
Very warm welcome and good dining advice from the assistant innkeeper. I would stay again if a larger and brighter room were available.
