This was one of my favorite places that I have ever stayed. For the money you could not get better! I wish there was one in TN. Even if you are a fan of the stuffier, antique B &B’s you will like this place. I stayed one night with my mother and grandmother and we couldn’t have had a better stay. Beautiful decor, great service, food, and an even better bathroom! We stayed in the upstairs suite and I could have just stayed in the bathroom the entire time and been happy… it was absolutely lovely and all the way around divine.
Service: The innkeeper was great… she took us on a tour of the house and shared the history. She also was more than helpful in deciding places to eat and visit around town. Food: Upscale gourmet breakfast. When making the reservation the innkeeper inquired about dietary restrictions with was great. Also, the other couple staying wanted just hot tea and toast for breakfast and she accommodate them with two types of bread. There were also all kinds of treats and a stocked cabinet of sodas and a Kurig coffee maker that you could choose all types of hot teas and coffee. Decor: Definitely upscale, definitely beautiful. The finishes, fabrics and furniture are just lovely. The bathroom had heated marble floors and a huge shower with multiple jets.
I just got engaged and have even considered having a wedding in Atlanta (I live in TN) just so we could stay here.
